The setting

Late afternoon light filters through tall windows. The classroom mixes analog and digital: a chalkboard spans the front wall while a short-throw projector casts soft cyan light across three desks pushed into a triangle. Shelves on the right hold math manipulatives, headsets, and a stack of sketchbooks. Outside, muffled playground noise fades as club hour begins.

The three people

Mina sits closest to the board, a pen tucked behind her ear. She’s sketching a circuit diagram on tracing paper while glancing at a tablet balanced on a stand. Beside her notebook she’s taped a sticky note that says “Prototype due Friday.”

Leo leans back in the middle seat, spinning a mechanical pencil. He’s debugging code on a slim laptop, earbuds in, one side slightly lifted so he doesn’t miss conversation. A stack of reference cards—color-coded in neon—rests under his forearm.

Sora occupies the seat near the windows. She’s clipping photos on a mood board, cross-checking them with a history text. A portable microphone sits in front of her: later she’ll record narration for the group presentation.
